WARNING: Before starting the installation, ensure the vehicle engine is turned off, the ignition key is removed, and the negative battery terminal is disconnected to prevent electrical shorts or damage.
Socket wrench set
Wire cutters/strippers (if applicable)
Zip ties (for routing and securing)
Safety glasses and gloves
Locate the existing engine wiring harness.
Carefully disconnect all electrical connectors from the injectors, sensors, and main power source. Tip: Take a photo before disconnecting to remember the routing.
Unbolt any brackets or clips securing the harness to the engine block.
Remove the old wiring harness completely.
Lay out the new wiring harness (Part No. 21451295) along the factory routing path.
Connect all electrical plugs to their corresponding terminals (injectors, valves, and sensors). Ensure each connector "clicks" firmly into place.
Secure the harness using the original brackets or heavy-duty zip ties. Avoid routing the wires near high-heat areas (like the exhaust manifold) or moving parts.
Double-check all connections against your initial layout or reference photo.
Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position (do not start the engine yet) and check for any warning lights on the dashboard.
Start the engine and let it idle. Listen for smooth engine operation and ensure no error codes appear.
