QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE
Fuel Injector & Pump Replacement
⚠️ WARNING
Absolute Cleanliness Required: Fuel systems are highly sensitive to dirt and debris.
High Pressure: Turn off the engine and ensure the system is completely depressurized before starting.
1. Preparation & Cleaning

Clean the Area: Thoroughly clean surrounding areas before removing old parts to prevent contamination.

Inspect Fuel System: Check the tank and lines for rust, water, or metal debris. If contaminated, flush the system and replace the fuel filter first.

Clean the Seat: Remove all carbon deposits from the injector bore or mounting seat. Always discard old seals and use brand-new copper washers/O-rings.
2. Component Fitting

Lubricate O-Rings: Lightly coat new O-rings with clean engine oil or fuel.

Torque to Spec: Insert the component gently. Tighten mounting bolts using a torque wrench to the manufacturer’s exact torque specifications (do not over-tighten).

Connect Lines: Secure high-pressure fuel lines and electrical connectors without forcing them.
3. Post-Installation & Coding

Bleed Air: Cycle the ignition or use a diagnostic tool to bleed air from the fuel system before starting.

Check for Leaks: Start the engine, let it idle, and inspect all connections for leaks.

ECU Coding: For common rail injectors, program the new calibration code (IMA/IQA code) into the vehicle’s ECU using a diagnostic scanner.
