Cleanliness: Clean the mounting area thoroughly. Contamination will damage the system.
Seals: Replace all O-rings and copper washers. Lubricate new O-rings with clean engine oil.
Pumps: Align timing marks or the drive key before seating.
Injectors: Insert straight into the bore; do not force or pinch the O-ring.
Torque: Tighten mounting bolts to factory specifications using a torque wrench.
Lines: Remove protective caps and connect high-pressure fuel lines immediately.
Bleed: Prime the fuel system to remove air. Do not crank the engine dry.
Test: Start the engine and inspect immediately for high-pressure leaks.
