Quick Installation Guide: Common Rail Fuel Pump
⚠️ WARNING: Absolute cleanliness is critical. Even microscopic dust can damage the system. Wait at least 15 minutes after engine shutdown before loosening high-pressure fuel lines.
Installation Steps

Clean & Inspect
-
Thoroughly clean the surrounding engine area before removing the old pump.

Verify the part number and inspect the drive gear for wear.

Align Engine Timing
-
Set the engine to Top Dead Center (TDC) according to the manufacturer's manual. Keep timing locked.

Mount the Pump
-
Replace the O-ring/gasket (lubricate with clean engine oil).
-
Align the pump shaft, insert the pump, and torque the mounting bolts diagonally to specification.

Connect Lines & Wiring
-
Remove protective port caps only when ready to connect.
-
Connect fuel lines (hand-thread high-pressure lines first to prevent cross-threading, then torque).

Plug in the Suction Control Valve (SCV) electrical connector.

Bleed & Prime (Critical)
-
Do NOT dry-start the engine. Use the hand primer or diagnostic tool to bleed all air from the fuel system before starting.

Start & Check
-
Start the engine and let it idle. Do not rev the engine immediately.

Check all connections for leaks (never use bare hands to check for high-pressure leaks).
